We have a brand new CD for sale - Not An Accident
We are:

Michelle Hefner
-
an American vocalist who has been in Australia for ten years. Her singing experience
encompasses corporate, function and wedding bands and Blues and Rock bands.
In Australia, she first found work with the trio 'Xploit' and sang with this
group for nearly two years. Xploit played at clubs and pubs all around Victoria.
Other bands have been 'Black and Blues' A Melbourne Blues Band;
'Bitchin' - a five piece band playing songs from the 70s to the
mid 90s around Melbourne, regional Victoria and King Island;
'Stardust' a jazz and blues standards Band, playing in places such as
Peppers Dalgany, Hickinbothams Winery, and other similar restaurant oriented
venues and 'Eat My Shorts' a pub and function band performing around
Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Now Michelle performs with the five piece 'Funk'n'Soul' band, not too difficult
to guess what they play. In summary, Michelle Hefner is a very versatile and
experienced vocalist with a wide repertoire and a great voice!
And

Keith Rea
-
a very accomplished and talented musician, who has been playing guitar since
the age of five. In 1984 Keith joined the Peninsula Folk Club from which several
bands were formed, including a covers band, 'WattsOn';
a vocal harmony group, 'Copper Kettle';
and then an Irish acoustic band 'TARA'. This very popular band played in pubs
and at festivals, and during the next six years produced first a live and much
reprinted cassette and later, a studio CD. Then came five years of Irish rock
with a five piece band TOO-RYE-AY, which played regularly 3 nights
a week and also toured interstate and overseas. Keith also kept his hand in
the acoustic scene with his duo (or sometimes trio) called Half A Rat
playing a mix of Irish, blues and country sounds.
Now Keith plays in a 5 piece classic covers band 'Men in Black', and 'Mamas
Mountain Jug Band', playing good-time music from the American South from
the 1920s to the 1950s era, encompassing jazz, blues, bluegrass,
country, calypso & more. Strong vocal harmonies and a very full fingerpicking guitar
style have always being Keiths emphases.
